On our way to people who work in the Annenviertel. Work is a permanent topic in our globalised 21st century. Too much, too little, how, why? Three tours will reveal how the city continues behind the doors. Talking to the urban researcher Elke Krasny people who work in different offices, workshops, shops or social institutions will tell you on the spot about their everyday work in the Annenviertel and guide you through the places where they work. Thus insight into the big differences between present-day working environments is provided -ranging from successfully restructured medium enterprises, traditional interest groups and long-established commercial undertakings over the impressing logistics of social services and the inventiveness of newly established migrant businesses right up to generation-spanning office start-ups. In the course of discussions the statements are phrased that outline how the city is working today.
