What are you waiting for? Theater im Bahnhof
and Office Ukraine Graz invite you to answer this question during the
one-week multidisciplinary festival WAITING FOR… As visitors, you can
exchange ideas with the Ukrainian artists and guests about waiting and
explore your own emotional experiences that arise in the state of waiting.

EXHIBITION LAB: Waiting Room

Free entry.
The Graz-based Ukrainian visual artists will transform one of the theatre
spaces into their temporary studio. Throughout the week, the artists will
collect stories about waiting from the audience and offer their artistic
interpretation in return by creating the artworks directly on site and
assembling them in the theatre space.

DISCUSSION: Waiting for… & OFFICE UKRAINE BOOK PRESENTATION
What can happen in the time of waiting? During the discussion, Ukrainian
artists living in Graz and their supporters will thematise the parallel
experiences of uncertainty and empowerment. In addition, the recently
published book ”Office Ukraine. Two years of support for Ukrainian
artists” will be presented.

An evening with a series of performances will conclude the festival week.
Using various methods and media (audiovisual installations, music, singing,
reading, improvisational theatre), the Ukrainian artists will continue
the exploration of the state of waiting begun by the visual artists in
the exhibition lab.
