Over the past few years, < rotor > center for contemporary art has pursued the exchange between the art scenes of different cities in loose succession. This format runs under the surtitle “Cultural Friendship”. In the frame of this, young curators from three Bosnian-Herzegovinian cities came to Austria in summer 2016. In a second step, based on their research, the curators developed projects and presentations in the cities where they work:
Banja Luka, Trebinje, and Sarajevo.

The following artists have been selected to create new artworks, which will be presented in exhibitions on the spot and documented in publications:
studio Asynchrome (Graz, founded in 2013)
Resanita (Graz, founded in 2003)
Sabine Bitter / Helmut Weber (Vienna/Vancouver, founded in1993).

of the Federal Chancellery of Austria.
