Diving into the exhibition

Within the framework of this newly conceived workshop series, the
participants will have the opportunity to dive into the current
exhibition and try out different materials and artistic techniques.

In the first issue of this series we are on the trail of various beings –
particularly in the examination of the watercolour series "Hydra" by
Mariel R. Rodríguez. By means of wet-on-wet technique and the use
of substances such as salt and alcohol, a chemical reaction gives rise
to an unpredictable being. Herby, one's own intuition and sensitivity
for the material are in focus. This special painting technique can be
experienced in the workshop.
