Exhibition Tour
Special Guest: Christian Orendt

Christian Orendt, part of the artist duo Böhler & Orendt, is our special guest for this event. He will take part in the exhibition tour and speak in particular about their own multimedia installation: “The Spirit of the B.U.D. or the Sweet Certainty of Deliverance from the Darkness that Surrounds Us”. The artwork is composed of various elements, the central ones being nine paintings that initially tell of the becoming human and the damage to the earth that is taking its course. At a certain moment, the other-than-human inhabitants of the earth join forces to solve the problem with humans in their own way.

During the dialogue-based exhibition tour, Margarethe Makovec & Anton Lederer will introduce to the curatorial considerations for the exhibition. Together with Christian Orendt, they will open up an exchange with the audience.

The current exhibition “Beings & Creatures. Chapter 1: On Damaged Earth” ends this week. The tour on Friday still offers an opportunity to visit, as does the long Wednesday (open until 22:00) or Saturday, 4.6 as the last day of the exhibition (12:00 to 16:00).
