the last day of the exhibition “Like an Open Door, Leading Us Where
We Would Never Have Consented to Go" you have the last opportunity
to visit the exhibition, take part in a workshop, enjoy music and engage
in dialogue with some of the artists.
First, Laura Urdl from the < rotor > art education team
will lead a workshop in which a folding book can be designed
- and taken home - using drawing and other techniques such as, collage
and creative writing exercises
Veronika Hauer will then give us a closer look at her
sculptural and graphic works in the exhibition. Hanns Holger Rutz
will also be present and talk about his mechanical-electronic sound installation,
and finally Anja Korherr will give us an insight in her
approach and working method as a painter.
The flutist Elisa Azzarà will perform various pieces
during the afternoon in
the frame of impuls@< rotor >
- thank you very much for this wonderful collaboration!
The following pieces will be played:
Brian Ferneyhough, „Cassandra's Dream Song“, 1970
Tristan Murail, „Unanswered Questions“, 1995;
Liza Lim, „Bioluminescence“, 2019
Maurizio Azzan, „Essere aura“, 2022 * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
