Women* demand equal access to all
spheres of social life!
This is not a historical claim, but one that is still valid today. Instead,
however, backwardlooking politics is reducing the achievements that women*
have fought for. Against this, we must raise our voices and use modern
strategies of self-empowerment, participation and solidarity. These aspects
become clear in the works presented by numerous artists.
The exhibition is dedicated to the
Styrian Network AGAINST SEXUALIZED VIOLENCE.
The phrase "Guerilla der Aufklärung" (Guerrilla
of Enlightenment) is used by courtesy of Doron Rabinovici and has been
taken from the text "Aktion und Artikulation. Das Bestehen des Republikanischen
Clubs" published in "Von der Kunst der Nestbeschmutzung - Dokumente
gegen Ressentiment und Rassismus seit 1986", Löcker Verlag,
2009.
