For his project >parallelinfo< direktnachrichten aus usa:russland Bernhard Wolf travelled to Russia and the US in the years 2000 and 2001. In this context, the internet-platform parallelinfo.mur.at played a central role, because it featured travel reports dealing with the national culture and made their fast transmission a subject of discussion.

This is how a "testing channel for independent production of news" emerged, which can also be seen as a subjective expedition across two vast nations.

Also, a postcard-series was produced as part of the project – today, one of the postcards is "Archived Exhibit of the Day" at < rotor > and in the frame of the Artist Talk with Bernhard Wolf the question, to what extent the project nowadays can be seen as a pioneering one, will be reflected on.
