        In Austria, the 5th of May marks the annual 
        Day of Remembrance of Violence and Racism commited to the Victims 
        of the National Socialists. This date also marks the anniversary 
        of the Liberation of the Concentration Camp Mauthausen. Connected to the 
        remembrance of the crimes commited by the fascist rulers is the mission 
        to fight current threats by racism and violence. 
         
        On the occassion of this day of remembrance the exhibition Living 
        Remembrance Culture in Styria will be opened in the arcades of 
        the Landhaus Graz. Numerous inititatives, which dedicate their work to 
        the active remembrance within various regions of Styria, will be presented.
