The second exhibition titled Productive Wild Archive will resort to materials from 2007 to 2016 collected at < rotor >. Thereby, the title is programmatic for a phase of sorting, structuring and reflecting : The “wild” archive in the sense of the subjectivity of collecting is to be made available for productive use through examination on different levels.

All the culture from the past meets all the impatience of the future.
(Chris Marker in Le tombeau d'Alexandre)

The review and rearrangement of all materials at < rotor > aims on the one hand to ensure a better overview and, on the other, to improve the accessibility of the existing material. But what is as essential is the associated opportunity to reflect the programmes and activities that have taken place up to now.

This stage of reflection is directed towards the future: Freely referring to filmmaker Chris Marker’s statement, we are full of impatient curiosity for everything that lies ahead when reviewing everything we have already been allowed to realise and experience.
