Migration and the resulting transformation are topics which are not only
of permanent importance within the Schengen countries, but also outside the EU and at the borders of Europe. This fact is not known in the Western part of Europe, because the dominantly purported impression is that one important part of the world's population is on its way to EU Europe, searching for living space, which, however, is not really frictionless.
Migration concerns a wide range of topics and cannot be depicted through
a cliché. European cities and countries beyond the Schengen border, which
are often labelled as "Safe Third Countries," also deal with a number of questions within the context of migration.

The exhibition presents eight artistic analyses and projects regarding aspects of migration in a Europe outside the EU and beyond the Schengen borders.
